The Bride and Groom travelled up to Mapleton from Brisbane to seal the deal today. Tanglewood Garden is a quaint, shady, cool, green love pit just perfect for Janine and Wayne and the family and friends who shared the love this afternoon. The skies were blue, the wind stayed on the coast and the temperature was just about perfect for a Wedding Day. There was even a couple of very small Princesses in attendance today and they must have had a huge influence over their little companions because I didn't hear a sound from them during the whole ceremony. Thank you small people for your awesomeness. Wayne and Janine are beautiful people and its couples like these that make my role as a Celebrant rewarding and a lot of fun.
I wish them a long and love filled life together.
Congratulations guys, thanks for sharing your day with me.
Remember, Love is all you need.
So my first Noosa Weds Blog just had to be about the cutest bridesdog ever! Meet 'Chilli' who, at the tender age of 4 months, stole the show (well, for a few moments anyway and before the Bride arrived) at a March Wedding Ceremony I performed in Noosa. When I first met Chilli she was a little excitable (to say the least ) and when her Mum later told me she was going to be 'in the Wedding' I hoped the distress didn't show on my face! I had visions of ripped dresses, scratched legs, knocked over toddlers, barking and of course the dreaded poop mid ceremony! I know...., it pays not to assume the worst but those assumptions come from experience!! (and the poop from a dog)
I just smiled and said (with as much professionalism as I could muster), "how wonderful"
Im very happy to report that contrary to my initial fears, Miss Chill was a perfect little angel and a perfect addition to the Wedding party. This sweet little Staffy did everything right and it was perfect she was included.
Im going to finish with a catch phrase which I want you to know is from my heart (and The Beatles) and truth in this crazy world.
All you need is love xx
